A Nigerian Music and Football blogger, Collins Tyler took to his twitter to share tips on how to stay safe during a protest. This is coming amidst the recent protest happening across various parts of the Nigeria where Nigerian youths, including celebrities and other well-known Nigerians have occupied the streets to carry out a peaceful protest against police brutality in Nigeria.

In a thread shared via his twitter handle @Collinz_Tyler, he pointed out what you can wear and bring along to the protest which includes food, drinks, water and essential needs

Below is what he tweeted:

"How to Stay Safe During a Protest

1. Have a water bottle/ sufficient water to drink to stay properly  hydrated.                          Dehydration, heat exhaustion, and heat stroke are real.

2. Choose shoes you can stand in comfortably for an hour.

3. Carry a small first-aid kit that includes bandages and disinfectant wipes.

4. Take care of your mental health.

5. Have a good, balanced meal before you go to the demonstration.

6. Carry a small backpack of essential things you need."
